Ever wanted to know what some of the best-smelling winter fragrances are from Bath and body works? Recently, I decided to blog about Bath and Body Works Winter Collection and wanted to share with you all my favorites. Winter is one of my favorite seasons and the same as my birthday, so what better way to celebrate it than with gifts of fragrance and body care?
To give a brief background on my discovery of bath and body works: I wanted to get more into personal hygiene and explore fragrances to make body care more fun! Before, I used to think that all the fragrances from Bath and body works smelt similar and were a massive waste of money. However, after testing out a few products, I now have a small collection of my favorite collections.
As I have mentioned in other posts, Bath and body works and Victoria’s secret are owned by the same company (limited branded). So, I also tend to visit Victoria’s secret to see their body care items. The main difference is the fragrance. Many Victoria’s Secret body care items do not have body wash and only lotions and body mists.
I love a good body wash and notice that the fragrance from body wash does linger. Hence, picking a fragranced body wash is vital to building a foundation of scents to layer with. I will also discuss tips on how to make your fragrance last longer.
Bath and Body Works Winter Collection Review

Vanilla Bean Noel Bath and Body Works
Although it is known that Bath and Body works’ Vanilla scents are very faint and less noticeable, I must admit that I am still a sucker for this scent. It is light and airy, and I think it is just enough to add a fragrance. Furthermore, you cannot go wrong, considering that you would be layering this scent with body wash, lotion, and mist.
Honestly, I am not that fond of solid fragrances and love fruity and dessert scents. So, the minimalist approach works for me regarding Bath and body work.
The Vanilla bean noel has the perfect blend of vanilla aroma. I recommend this collection to those who are not big on fragrances or may have an allergic reaction to strong scents. However, be careful, as it is not available all year round and only during winter.

Champagne Toast Body Cream
Another one of my favorite collections from bath and body works is the Champagne Toast collection. Initially, I was not a fan of this fragrance, and for some reason, I was not too fond of the scent. Nevertheless, last year’s winter collection contained the LOVE Cotton candy champagne, like a champagne toast.
The LOVE cotton candy champagne was one of the first fragrances I loved from bath and body works. It had a lingering scent that was so fresh and unique.
When I found out that the LOVE cotton candy champagne collection discontinued, I did not want to resort to getting it online, mainly because of the pricy shipping fees. Instead, I noticed champagne toast body cream, still available at Bath and body works. Putting two and two together, I realized that LOVE cotton candy champagne was a spin off-of champagne toast.
Moreover, I noticed that these two fragrances smell alike. So, if you are looking for a fresh new, unique scent, this fragrance might be right for you.

Forever Red Lotion
Next up, we have forever red lotion. I found this collection on a whim when I took back a lotion I was not fond of. At that time, I did not think anything would be pleasing. Then I took a whiff of the Forever Red lotion. This winter collection has been around for a few years, and I decided to buy all three products: body wash, lotion, and mist.
Let me tell you why I love this scent. If you are a fan of egg nog, then I have good news for you… Forever red has a very mature aroma and leaves notes of nutmeg, which you can find in egg nog. Therefore, it smells so much like it.
Moreover, I am not sure what I will do with this collection in the summer, but I am such a huge fan of Bath, and body works winter scents that I will probably wear it in the summer months too!

Strawberry Snowflakes Body Lotion
Finally, we have a new collection of 2022, the strawberry snowflakes collection. I must say that I used to be a massive fan of the strawberry pound cake collection, which is available all year round. However, I am sad that I am now getting sick of this scent and want to try something new. My nose has become too accustomed to this aroma, and I think it is time to move on.
Thus, I decided to try the strawberry snowflakes body lotion. In it, I also have the body wash, lotion, and mist because I love to layer these components, and it is vital if you want to smell like it.
You will notice that the collection smells like strawberries, but it also has a musky minty aroma at the end. After using this fragrance, I noticed that my place smelt like a strawberry fruit roll-up I would eat as a child. It is so good! So, if you are looking for an alternative to strawberry pound cake, I recommend this collection. It may even be better than SPC.
Conclusion
In this blog post, I went over some of my tried-and-true of the Bath and Body Works Winter Collection. To me, winter is the best time to shop for fragrances. It is also my birthday month, and I am glad I have all these options available. We started with Bath and body works vanilla bean noel, your primary good-quality vanilla scent and a signature staple at Bath and body work.
Second, we have Champagne toast, a great alternative to LOVE cotton candy champagne, which has been discontinued. Third, we have Forever red, a winter favorite of mine that smells like nutmeg and eggnog. Finally, we have Strawberry Snowflakes, which, surprisingly, has a powerful strawberry scent that you will adore.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Try some of these recommendations, and tell me what you think in the comments below! Thanks for reading.
