Lush Dirty Springwash Shower Gel Review

Lush Dirty Springwash Shower Gel

When it comes to Lush shower gels, everyone raves about products like Snow Fairy, Rose Jam and Sleepy, but there are so many other amazing shower gels in their range. I picked up the Lush Dirty Springwash Shower Gel as part of a big Lush haul I did, and although I didn’t read any reviews before trying it, I could see it had 4 out of 5 stars on the Lush website, so I knew it had to be good.

Great ready to chill, pour out crisp spearmint and herbaceous thyme, lather all over and rinse off under a waterfall (or shower!).

The Dirty Springwash Shower Gel is £7 for the 100g size, £14 for the 250g size, £23 for the 500g size and £38 for the mammoth 1kg size. In the bottle, the shower gel has a teal colour, and it smells incredible.

I love a good minty or herbal shower gel, especially for morning showers when you feel half asleep, as they feel so invigorating. I loved the description Lush included on the bottle for Dirty Springwash. Describing it as a rapturous tingle of menthol crystals and a crisp breath of spearmint tempts like untrodden snow, galvanising you into action.

The spearmint is very noticeable, and it smells so minty and fresh. If you have a cold or blocked sinuses, it’s the perfect shower gel, and it’s such a strong scent, it leaves your entire bathroom smelling divine for hours.

Not only does it leave your bathroom smelling amazing, but the scent lingers on the skin for a good two to three hours, and it’s a nice unisex fragrance too. It’s not the most hydrating Lush shower gel I’ve tried, but if you love fresh, minty or herbal scents, you’ll love the Lush Dirty Springwash Shower Gel.
