CLEARWATER, Fla. – With great excitement, the popular Saturday Morning Shoppe market announces its debut in the city of Clearwater this month, presenting “Shopping with a Vibe”.

Enjoy live entertainment, games, foodie competitions, arts & crafts, line dancing, bounce houses and some of the best food in town.

The event is in collaboration with the Clearwater Urban Leadership Coalition and the city of Clearwater, and will take place on Saturday, February 26, at the Walter C. Campbell Park in Clearwater from 3 to 8 p.m. The market will bring vendors from all over the region for a one-of-a-kind shopping and entertainment experience in Clearwater.

Renee Edwards, Saturday Morning Shoppe founder, partnered with the Clearwater Urban Leadership Coalition to provide economic development opportunities to the community, with a strong focus on minority and women-owned businesses.

The growth of the Saturday Morning Shoppe has been remarkable, making its mark in cities nationwide including St. Petersburg, Tampa, Miami, Atlanta and this year in Washington D.C. and Clearwater.

A unique component of the market is the Saturday Morning Shoppe Vendor Academy which allows vendors the opportunity to participate in a four-week training focused on improved marketing and social media strategies, exceptional customer service, licensing, and other business best practices.

Edwards also praised the market’s partnership with the Clearwater Urban Leadership Coalition, a non-profit collaborative network of business owners, community organizations and individuals who joined together in 2019 to revitalize a community through the creation of a Community Redevelopment Area in North Greenwood, and nearby neighborhoods.

“To be a part of the development and growth of our small businesses is very rewarding” Edwards said.

Bringing minority and women-owned businesses to the forefront is a passion for Edwards. She has been featured in the New York Times and local media regarding her efforts: Starting a Business With Your 401(k)?
