As San Antonio prepares for its enormous Fiesta celebration — now 10 days away — complimentary situations are cropping up all more than the metropolis. 1 these celebration is as eco-acutely aware as it is fashionable. The Fiesta Sustainable Style Show will just take area on Wednesday, March 23.

In its fifth yr, the general public celebration is a collaboration amongst Goodwill and learners from Stevens High School. Led by Northside ISD instructor Christine Donovan, the clearly show will curate a lot more than 20 next-hand looks by pupils in the school’s Entrepreneurship and Style Application.

Donovan was the recipient of the 2021 Texas Trend Awards Specialist of the Yr award, is an Agosto Cuellar award-winning sustainable fashion designer, and serves as a Goodwill Buyer Encounter Manager. She has guided students to consider creatively when crafting their sustainable outfits.


In advance of the exhibit, all collaborating college students volunteered at local Goodwill shops to master about sustainable style and retail. All appears to be like on the Goodwill runway will be accessible to order soon after the show. 

The showcase will start at 6 p.m. at the Goodwill at 10422 Potranco Street.
