Better Than Botox? Anti-Aging Skincare Routine featuring Dr. Zenovia Skincare

Two months ago, I put together an acne clearing skincare routine featuring Dr. Zenovia Skincare products. In that post, I promised to give you a full anti-aging routine using products from the brand, and today I am fulfilling that promise!

Finding anti-aging skincare products that actually work can be a daunting task. You spend over $100 on products that have been recommended by your local Sephora salesperson, only to be disappointed when you try them out on your skin. Not only have you wasted a ton of money, but you are probably frustrated that your skin concerns haven’t been addressed.

Don’t feel bad, we’ve all been there!

I’m here to tell you that there are actually products out there that work to keep your skin looking youthful and vibrant! Don’t get me wrong, anti-aging skincare products won’t give you the same results as cosmetic surgery and botox, but there are products that can help you age gracefully and beautifully.

I put together a full skincare routine that will provide amazing anti-aging benefits using only Dr. Zenovia skincare products. I have personally used all the products mentioned in this post, and I stand behind them 100%! Ok, let’s get into the routine…

Anti-Aging Skincare Routine

Before we begin, let me tell you a little about the REG-ulate360 Complex™.

I always start my skincare routines with a cleanser and toner. 

For this anti-aging routine, we will be using a hydrating cleanser and a skin brightening toner. This will help us prep the skin for the rest of this routine. If you are on a budget and you have to build a very simple skincare routine, I would recommend getting the cleanser and skipping the toner. However, if you are able to, adding the toner to your routine will really help you see results quicker. 

The Bakuchiol Hydrating Cleanser ($42) cleanses the skin deeply without stripping it of moisture. The cleanser feels very creamy and it smells amazing, and the beautiful glass packaging provides a luxurious experience. While there are plenty of cleaners on the market, this one stands out for its ability to hydrate and balance the skin. 

Not only will this cleanser help your skin feel amazing, but it will also help keep your skin clear and radiant. If you know of another cleanser that can do the same job for less money, please let me know! I haven’t found one yet, and let me tell you, I have tried so many cleansers already…

The Vitamin C Brightening Toner ($38) is essential for glowing skin! I know that I said you can skip this toner if you need to, but I really think that you should try to fit this product into your skincare budget. It’s just too good to leave out of your skincare routine!

Formulated with a potent antioxidant blend, bakuchiol, micronutrient sea salt, and witch hazel, this toner will help brighten, clear, calm, and balance the skin while providing anti-aging benefits. The Vitamin C Brightening Toner is a game-changer when it comes to boosting radiance and reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I cannot stress enough how much you need this toner in your anti-aging routine!

Plus, the glass packaging is beautiful AF.

I like to apply this toner with my hands instead of a cotton round. I honestly hate applying toners with cotton rounds, they absorb way too much product. Who wants to waste toner that costs $38?!

After cleansing and prepping the skin, it’s time to move on to serums and treatments. 

If you were thinking about skipping this step, think again! These two products are a must-have if you really want to soften those fine lines and wrinkles. The bad news is that these are pretty expensive, but the good news is that they will last you a very long time because you will only be using these one time a day. 

In the mornings, you will be applying one pump of the Hyaluronic Acid + Peptide Serum, and in the evenings, you will use the Inflam-Aging Night Repair Treatment. These two products are hands down the best anti-aging products that I’ve ever tried!

The Hyaluronic Acid + Peptide Serum ($72) will provide deep hydration and nourishment, plump out the skin (goodbye fine lines!), and protect the skin from UV damage. I cannot tell you how many times I have gotten compliments on my skin when I used this serum, it provides a noticeable improvement after the first use. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, peptides, antioxidants, caffeine, aloe vera, and bakuchiol, the Hyaluronic Acid + Peptide Serum will leave you with dewy, supple, and youthful-looking skin.

I wear a lot of foundation, so my skin tends to get pretty dehydrated throughout the day. By consistently wearing foundation, you can actually be aging your skin by depriving your skin cells of moisture. This serum will help reverse that damage and actively work to protect your skin all day long! I wish I could tell you that you can skip this serum, but this one is a must-have if you want good-looking skin.

The Inflam-Aging Night Repair Treatment ($72) is a game-changer for reversing the appearance of aging, you will start to see a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles within one week! That’s pretty f-ing quick! On top of that, this treatment will also help refine your pores and clear up your skin. I’m not making this up!

Formulated with antioxidants, aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, and bakuchiol, the Inflam-Aging Night Repair Treatment sounds identical to the Hyaluronic Acid + Peptide Serum, however, you will notice the difference after one application. I had a pretty deep line between my eyes that almost disappeared after 4 months of consistent use! Who needs Botox when you have Dr. Zenovia Skincare?

Seriously though, you need to get your hands on this treatment if you are over 30 years old…

The Retinol Recovery Eye Cream ($64) is essential if you suffer from dark circles, puffiness, and/or fine lines around your eyes. If none of those apply to you, feel free to skip this eye cream. Everyone else needs to pick up the Retinol Recovery Eye Cream today!

There has been a lot of controversy around the topic of eye creams, but I 100% think that most people need one in their routine. Yes, you can use a moisturizer around your eyes… if you have 20-something skin! If you are using an anti-aging moisturizer, you are applying a product formulated for the tough skin on the face in a very delicate area. 

Trust me, you don’t want to do this! 

Eye creams sound like an expensive extra, but you only need the smallest amount to cover the entire region. This means that a small 0.5oz tube will last just as long as a tub of moisturizer. Not to mention, your eyes will be a lot happier with the gentle formulation!

The Retinol Recovery Eye Cream will reduce the look of crow’s feet within a few weeks, I’m not even exaggerating. I recommend using this eye cream twice a day, using your ring finger to pat in the product. Let the cream fully dry before applying makeup or you will end up with a flaking mess.

If you have ever been disappointed by an anti-aging eye cream, you are going to love this product!

This post is getting long AF… Stay with me, we are on the last two products!

The last step in this anti-aging skincare routine is applying moisturizer. If you think that you don’t need to use a moisturizer, think again. Moisturizer is a must if you have aging skin, don’t believe anyone if they tell you otherwise.

I have two different moisturizer recommendations, but if you need to cut something out of this routine for financial reasons, you can omit the Vitamin C Brightening Moisturizer SPF 30 and apply the Peptide + Ceramide Repairing Moisturizer twice a day instead.

However, DO NOT skip the Peptide + Ceramide Repairing Moisturizer!

If you only get one product from this whole routine, I would recommend the moisturizer. Not because it is the best anti-aging product in this post, but because it is THE BEST moisturizer I have ever used in my life! I cannot even describe how amazing this moisturizer actually is, you just have to experience it for yourself.

The Vitamin C Brightening Moisturizer SPF 30 ($68) is a very good product. I know that I said you can skip this one, but I hope that you decide to get it for your anti-aging routine. Formulated with vitamin c, zinc oxide, and antioxidants, this moisturizer will help fade any skin discoloration and give you a youthful glow. I love that they included an SPF of 30 in this daytime moisturizer, that way you don’t need to apply a separate sunscreen before heading outside.

Due to the sunscreen in the moisturizer, there is actually an expiration date stamped onto the bottom of the box. If you do purchase the Vitamin C Brightening Moisturizer, make sure to note the expiration date so you don’t keep it on standby for too long!

The Peptide + Ceramide Repairing Moisturizer ($79) is my holy grail moisturizer. I wish that this came in a bulk size so that I could slather it all over my body! This moisturizer screams luxury, from the packaging to the scent to the way it glides on the skin. I currently have one of these open, plus I have three backups ready to go when needed. 

Formulated with ceramides, peptides, aloe vera, bakuchiol, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid, this moisturizer will fix almost any skin concern. Your skin will experience fewer breakouts, it will look radiant, all signs of aging will be diminished, and your hydration levels will be off the chart (even in the winter). 

Seriously, stop what you are doing and put this moisturizer in your cart!

Final Thoughts
